Castilleja de la Cuesta.

Castilleja de la Cuesta is a town near Seville and it's the place where I have been living all my life. I'm going to tell you some interesting things about this town.

Castilleja is not a place to visit but a lot of people lives there and it is a very big town. Castilleja has very good restaurants and have two brotherhoods: "La Calle Real" and "La Plaza". 

Some of the interesting things in Castilleja are: 

The easter week:

For me It is the most important week in all the year. 

The holy thursday is the day that "La Calle Real" do the procession and this is the crist.

I'm from the other brotherhood "La Plaza" and I like a lot. I go out with the procession but the two years that I'm trying to go out I didn't do it because it did bad weather and we couldn't go out. The next pictures are of the Virgin "La Soledad" and the crist "Nuestro Padre Jesús de los Remedios".

There are other things that are very interesting in Castilleja like the School "Las Irlandesas" where all my family studied inluding my mother. It is an eclesiastic school and it is very old and very nice.

Nowadys I live in a small village in Camas, the town next to Castilleja, but I like Castilleja a lot and I consider that I am from this town. One of the best advantages is that all my mother's family live in Castilleja and when I want to see them I just need to take the bus.

For me the better restaurant in Castilleja is "The Calamocha" because it has very good food and it is fantastic.

Well, and this is the end, I tell you everything about Castilleja, my town.

What's in the jar?

The last four weeks we were cooperating with a charity and raising money to the poor people.

First we divided the class in groups amd in my group we were three: Lucía, Iván and me. Our task were looking for information about diseases and we chose a charity called "clowns without borders". I proposed this charity because I think the most important thing nowadays is to have fun and to laugh.

Then, we proposed differrent ideas to raise money, our idea was a fancy dress party but there were a better idea that was to guess the number of sweets a jar contained.

We bough sweets and we fill a jar and two people counted the number of sweets and the people who said the correct number will win the candies.

At first I was amazed because I liked  lot the idea and I wanted to start doing things and helping. The next days the teacher asked us what we wanted to do and everybody had a mission.

The first day we send messages by whatsapp and twitter and the people were informed about the activity and everbody started asking about the activity.

The second day we sticked posters in the corridors and in the classes.

The 10th we were at the center of the school and we gave numbers to everybody who wanted to bet. A lot of people payed and the teachers too. It was funny for me because the teachers said very stranges numbers and they didn't were near to the correct one.
The next week we were in the other school and the people payed too.
Then the last friday we discovered who was the winner and was Paula Ruíz.

I was to happy because she gave me some sweets.

It was a very gratefull experience and I hope I will repeat some day. Thank you for reading.

My greatest ability.

My greatest ability.

One of my best abilities is playing table tennis. I really enjoy it.

I know that I'm good playing ping-pong because I have played since I was 7 years old. Few years ago I started playing at hotels and winning competitions. Now I'm better because my father bought me a ping-pong table for my saint's day and I practise some days.

I'm very interested in that sport and if I want I can play and practise it for hours.
The truth is that when I play it I feel very good. Like if I were in the outerspace.

My father is very good table tennis player but I'm better and I can win him if I want. My friends aren't very good playing so when I play against them I always win but the important thing is that we laugh a lot and we have fun.
María, is my twin and she doesn't like to play with me because I always win her and she become angry, so the majority of the times I have to play alone.

I have few friends who know how to play ping-pong but I thing it is an interesting sport.

I'm going to practise more because I want to be better. Ping-pong makes me forget about my problems.

The best day of Christmas holidays.

I dindn't write before because I wanted to wait until today. The holidays have been very good but for me the bests days were the 5th and the 6th . I was very nervous because I wanted to know what the three wise men brought me.

 I'm going to tell you what I did:

 The 5th  Ana, my little cousin Marta who is 8 years old and me went to "Castilleja de la Cuesta" to see the procession of the Three Wise Men, we had a good time and we laughed a lot.

 The 6th I got up early and I called my father and my sister because they were sleeping. First my sister shouted at me but then she got up and we went to see what the three wise men bought us. My mother decided to make us a joke so she involved me the old computer the one wich didn't work so I was very angry but then she gave me another present wich was a new computer!! It was fantastic. 

 My grandmother gave me 150 euros my other grandmother gave me 25 euros, my aunt gave me 40 euros, my aunt María José gave me a t-shirt and my uncle gave me a boots. Ana gave me a present as well it was a blue "NIKE" jacket and I like a lot.

After that at half past two all my family and Ana went to eat to a restaurant and It was very funny because my aunt is very funny and she told us funny and interesting things. Then we went to a coffe to drink something and Then I went with Ana to the street.

Merry Christmas.

We are working on an English projet and I'm going to tell you about traditional Christmas food.

All my family meet every year on 24th of December for a dinner party. We also meet the 31nd and the 6th of January.
The night before we also meet and we cook the food and we prepare it.
 Spanish tipycal food are:

We decided to go to seville to record Spanish Christmas food and as well to record people's opinions.
It was very funny because everyone wanted to appear in the video and they also ask us the web page where they can watch the video.

The possesion.

Alicia, Blanca, Maria José, Ria and me met to make an horror film for an English project.

At the beginning we decided the role of every member in the group.

María wrote the draft and then we correct the mistakes, for that we used “Google Docs”

Alicia was the team leader, Blanca was the Protagonist and I provided the materials we used because we record in my house.

The first day was much sun and we had very hot.

The second day we met was quite dark so we didn't finish because when we were going to do the last scene the camera dindn't have flash so we can't recorded,this is the reason while whe met the third day. The difference is Alicia and Maria Jose didn't come because they were dead in the film and we didn't need them.

In my opinion the Enghlish it's good and the film as well. But the accent I had to do was very difficult so we had to repit the scenes many times because when we started recorded we started laughing.

We didn't have much problems, just we changed the camera many times because the batery was over.

We tried to do an horror film but when we watch it in class everybody laugh at it.

Simply Thank You.

   I want to say thank you to my family and to Ana, because they are very important for me and I need them to keep on living.

  I want to say thank you to my family, including my sister, my grandparents and my parents because they support me in the worst moments and because they teach me to see the right side of life. 
 For all those advices you give me when I am about to give up, or when you make me remember that the cowards are the only ones who flee their problems.

I want to say thanks to Ana because as she knows, she is one of the most important people I have in my life, because she smiles at me when I need it and she is always with me and hugs me when I'm sad. 
 Maybe I don't tell her every day how much I love her and how important she is for me, but without her everything would be different.

         For many a simple word, for me a word full of meaning.
